ICT
My teaching career started very early, since I was the eldest of the family, always willingly trying to help my brother and two sisters whenever they asked for it. When I was 23, I joined the Salesian Congregation, an organization founded by John Bosco, an Italian priest living in the 19th century, who sacrificed his life for the education of poor boys. Having spent 5 years as a Salesian, I learned how important it is for a teacher to maintain good relationship with students, inspiring them with warmth and enthusiasm.
Later I graduated from English at the University of Bydgoszcz and completed my postgraduate ICT studies at Gdansk University. For the last 8 years I have been teaching both English and ICT in primary and secondary schools in Gdansk. I have also taught English to Polish teachers as a part of an EU project.
As to my interests, I like playing team games, table tennis and chess. I am also a webmaster for several internet sites and I spend a lot of time in front of the computer (According to my wife, too much time!) When I have time I read books on biblical theology. Above all I love teaching students and giving them joy and making them happy.
