It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the British International School Gdańsk (BISG). I trust that this website gives you an insight into what we offer the international and local community in Gdańsk and the surrounding area. We opened our school in September 2007. Since then we have already included teachers, parents and students from the U.S.A., Holland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Romania, Germany, Italy, Columbia, Denmark, Australia, England, India, Japan and of course, Poland. For prospective parents, pupils or teachers, please contact us, or visit us and we would be delighted to show you our dynamic and developing school.

Geography Teacher

As a young child my family moved to Canada from Poland. I have been living in Canada for the last 22 years. I am excited to be back in Poland because I have the opportunity to experience a different culture and also to pass on my experiences to my students. .

In my free time I like to play and coach sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball and handball. I am also an avid traveller and enjoy seeing the places and people I teach about..

I earned both my degrees and my teaching accreditation in Canada. My first degree was from the University of Manitoba where I majored in History and minored in Geography and Political Science. I have also taken many classes of interest in human rights, public policy, religion and labour movements. My second degree and teaching credentials were earned from the University of Alberta. My education training was in Secondary Education with a major in Social Studies and a minor in teaching English.
