It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the British International School Gdańsk (BISG). I trust that this website gives you an insight into what we offer the international and local community in Gdańsk and the surrounding area. We opened our school in September 2007. Since then we have already included teachers, parents and students from the U.S.A., Holland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Romania, Germany, Italy, Columbia, Denmark, Australia, England, India, Japan and of course, Poland. The British International School Gdańsk follows the English National Curriculum for children aged 2 to 18. Students will be able to sit the British GCSE exams at age 16 and the A-Level exams at age 18. All teaching is done through the English language by a mix of native English speakers and highly qualified local teachers, most of whom have international teaching experience, and all of whom are familiar with the English National Curriculum.
